Chisago Lakes High School Lacrosse
The Chisago Lakes HS Boys Lacrosse Team stepped onto the field as official MSHSL players for the first time in 2018. This historic season was the result of the incredible efforts of many coaches, parents, and players who had one goal several years ago...to grow the sport of lacrosse in our CL Community and bring boys and girls lacrosse to Chisago Lakes High School.
That day was April 23 when our boys step unto our stadium field as official high school team in their first ever game for CLHS.
Todd Pullips and his son, Jackson were the first to truly come up with the idea of starting lacrosse in Chisago Lakes. Other early visionaries including Dale Mohs, Tim Zaruba, Mike Marx, Chad Nelson and a slew of players, coaches, and parents who put a tremendous amount of time and energy into growing the sport of lacrosse in the Chisago Lakes area. Former CL Lax Club Director Cory Reedy and Coach Mike Marx spent many hours meeting with former CL AD Neil Fletcher and former CL Superintendent Joe Thimm to hash out the details of starting a high school team. In the spring of 2017, the CL School Board approved boys and girls lacrosse to be added as high school sports. Thanks to all who made the dreams of all current and future lacrosse players a reality.
